Carroll Printing Company Welcomes New Owners
After years of laundering and selling t-shirts, Cleveland locals Heath and Tasha Sullivan have begun printing tees with their recent purchase of Carroll Printing Company. Carroll Printing Company, located at 180 1st Street in Downtown Cleveland, has been in business since 1952.
Alumni of Lee University, Cleveland and Walker Valley High Schools, the Sullivans formerly owned Ridge Outfitters, an outdoor specialty retailer, in both Cleveland and Athens, and a coin laundromat. Taking a break from business ownership to focus on personal health, they sold their business assets and commercial real estate in 2020. With the “all clear” from her doctor, Tasha Sullivan will take the reins as president of Carroll Printing Company.
“We’re excited to be back doing what we love (serving the hometown we love),” explained Tasha Sullivan. “Our goals include continuing to deliver quality products, services, and communication. We are excited to be part of why this community loves Carroll Printing Company. We look forward to exploring new ways we can serve our employees, clients and community.”
Founded by Ralph Carroll, Carroll Printing Company began near its current location. Years later, it was passed to the next generation. Cousins Jackie Carroll and Lavoy Jones continued to develop a strong relationship-based business throughout many years serving the local community.
Carroll and Jones retired in 2019 when extended family members, Andrea and Ty Boddeker began leading the company. The Boddeker’s merged their existing company, Brooks Screen Printing, with Carroll Printing Company and continued to grow the business and their involvement with the community through supporting local businesses and nonprofits, serving on local boards, and building strong relationships throughout the community.
Carroll Printing Company is known best for building relationships and providing a single location for all printing and promotional needs including paper products, apparel printing, embroidery, promotional items and more. Carroll Printing Company is excited to be joined by the Sullivans and looks forward to continued community involvement.
